Experiences, thumbs and bells

 I was having an 'outer body' experience.

It stuck out like a 'red thumb'.

 I should have connected the dots, but it didn't 'ring my bell'.

I love baskekball!

 I was their 'escape goat'.

She got her finger caught in the door and had to have it decapitated.  She had her finger DECAPITATED!

If I fell out of a boat and a shark was in the water, I would die of anaphylactic shock!
